An Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) is an open-ended fund or investment trust that is
traded on a securities exchange like a stock. Most ETFs are index based and the
performance of the ETF tracks the performance of the underlying index.
This site offers the investor and trader tools to evaluate
the relative performance of the 800+ ETFs currently available. Tools currently
include Total Return Performance Comparisons, Relative Strength Trends, a Screener,
and market sector comparisons, all updated hourly during the
trading day for all but the lowest volume funds.
Site Offerings
Performance Comparison similar to what is in the table to the
right but more comprehensive including all the ETFs tracked here. You can click that
table or the Performance link on the menu above for the full review. From there you
can sort the table or jump to a price chart by clicking the fund name.
Our ETF Screener is available from the top menu where you can narrow the
list of ETFs down by filtering on various performance metrics, and with the provided performance
data you can see how that screen has performed in the past. Using this
tool you can identify those funds which you think have the best potential for future
growth.
Exchange Traded Funds include many more options than the popular SPY and QQQQ. Our database inlcudes
over 800 ETFs including the iShares, streetTRACKS, VIPERs, HOLDRS, and PowerShares families. The available options
include U.S. market sectors, indexes from around the world, and funds based on
investment styles, like value and growth. Whether you are looking for opportunities on the long side or
short, you can usually find an ETF that meets your requirements.
